Due to current team dynamics, the opportunity has arisen for an accomplished senior manager with sound experience in the business advisory service area to join our client.
Based in a vibrant Auckland City location, this role requires the talents of a well-rounded managerial professional with proven track record in the field.
Reporting directly to the partner partners, you will have dual client and team management responsibilities.
You will be responsible for managing the relationships with a sizeable portfolio of clients, ensuring the smooth performance of the team. In this key role, you will work closely alongside various partners, assisting with high-end advisory projects for some of the largest and most complex clients.
The successful candidate will have proven business development competencies and will be involved in a range of key marketing and other strategic and operational initiatives alongside the director. Your client portfolio will be diverse and will include entities of various sizes and industries.
This a multi-faceted role with strong value-add aspect and will see the successful candidate exposed to professionally stimulating consulting projects.
The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 7-8 years business advisory experience in a CA environment (Big 4/mid-tier experience is preferred). Naturally, at this level you will hold full CA or CPA qualifications and at least 3-4 years post qualification experience (in a CA environment).
Your sound understanding of the current commercial environment, proven people and client servicing competencies, and analytical skills combined with good leadership potential will be essential for your success in this role. Sounds NZ IFRS experience in a similar role in the CA sector and previous experience with special projects involving financial modelling, business valuations, mergers & acquisitions and other value-add projects would be essential for this role.
