This attractive opportunity is with a progressive mid-size chartered accounting and business advisory firm located in Central Auckland/city fringe.

The firm has strong client advisory focus and their structure and business model are original and refreshingly different. The firm is going through sustained double-digit growth – due to both natural organic growth and well planned long-term strategy of acquisitions.

We are looking for a tertiary qualified intermediate BAS accountant a minimum of 3 years current experience in CA environment. Ideally, we are looking for a recently CA qualified candidate although we will consider candidates in the final stage of their professional studies as well as more accomplished CA qualified senior professionals.

• The key technical competencies required for this newly created role are:
• Sound grounding in client accounting and tax compliance
• Previous experience with management reporting
• Proven client-facing skills
• Well-developed systems skills
• Good potential to develop further and step up in to a Manager role

Our client is growing and most of the growth is driven by advisory work. Outside the traditional client accounting and tax compliance, you will be involved in budgeting and forecasting, tax structuring, cashflow analyses, business valuations, systems advisory work and various other client advisory projects.  As you develop in to a senior accountant, in the medium term, the advisory aspect of your role will grow progressively.
