Our client, a boutique firm based on Auckland's North Shore, has an established and diverse client base consisting of various SME entities. Current team dynamics have created an opportunity for a senior accountant with good grounding in compliance accounting and tax to join their friendly close-knit team.

The role represents a mix of compliance and tax consulting and incorporates some aspects of practice management and systems development. In addition the successful candidate will be involved in consulting and training clients on MYOB and Xero and other software packages.

While CA qualifications are preferred we are open to consider candidates qualified by experience as long as they meet the above criteria.

Your clients will be predominantly small to medium size businesses across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, import and export, investment, services and others.

• variety or work and exposure to a range of compliance and advisory projects
• a role with strong client-servicing focus + some limited supervision of 1-2 staff

The role is client facing and requires outstanding interpersonal and client relationship management competencies. While this is a full-time permanent role, we are open to consider candidates looking for a degree of flexibility around working hours. So you may have a young a family and, while you are looking for a full-time role, you can benefit from flexible hours.
