Our client is well-established mid-size chartered accounting firm with a sizeable fee base and impressive profitability. The firm has established strong brand and impeccable reputation in their segment/region and has a loyal and constantly expanding client base.

Having discussed succession plans with our client we have identified the need for a competent business services accountant with a minimum of 6-7 years current NZ CA experience to join the practice.

This role is with a view to equity directorship by March 2019 (or March 2020 at the latest). Therefore, we are interested in hearing from professionals able and willing to acquire a substantial fee base within the above mentioned timeframe.

We are looking for a CA qualified accounting professional with proven client-servicing track record.

Your clients will be SME's operating across a broad spectrum of industries including manufacturing, retail, construction, travel and tourism, investment and horticulture to name a few. Strong systems skills are essential; previous experience with Xero, APS and MYOB would be advantageous.  

While the required well-rounded technical competencies and experience in all aspects of client accounting and tax are a given, we are looking for the right attitude and personal attributes as this is role is of crucial importance for the future of the practice.

The successful candidate will have friendly and down-to-earth personality with a positive, can-do attitude. You will be happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in any task that some your way.

Your ability to establish and nourish meaningful and positive relationship with your clients will be one of the fundamental requirements for your success in this pivotal role.
