They are seeking confident, client‑facing BAS professionals who can lead people, review work at a high standard, and support SMEs through real‑world challenges.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a firm that is transforming the way it supports clients — shifting from traditional compliance to deeper advisory and commercial problem‑solving. With offshore teams (and AI tools) handling the bulk of preparation work, your focus will be on:
- Reviewing compliance work completed by offshore and local teams
- Leading, coaching, and developing junior accountants
- Managing client relationships with confidence and maturity
- Supporting clients with cashflow, funding, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
- Contributing to value‑add projects such as valuations, due diligence, M&A, and forensic assignments
- Playing a key role in the firm’s growth and advisory evolution
- These roles sit at the heart of the firm’s next phase — ideal for someone who can operate independently from day one.
About You
You’ll be a strong fit if you bring:
- Solid BAS experience with proven review capability
- Experience managing offshore teams (highly advantageous)
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
- Ability to mentor and guide junior staff
- CAANZ/CPA qualification (preferred)
- Commercial judgement and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
- (Manager level) Exposure to advisory or corporate finance work such as forecasting, valuations, due diligence, or similar
