  • Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with NZ standards
  • Assess accounting systems and internal controls, recommending improvements
  • Prepare audit documentation, reports, and board‑level summaries
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Ensure quality, risk management, and regulatory requirements are met
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact
  • Use audit software and technology effectively to drive efficiency

Experience & Attributes

We are looking for someone with:

  • 4+ years’ audit experience in a New Zealand CA or professional services environment
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • CA or ACCA qualification (or near completion)
  • Strong understanding of audit methodology and NZ accounting standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, detail‑focused approach and strong commercial awareness

Your Future

This firm offers a clear development pathway, ongoing mentoring, and exposure to a wide range of industries. You’ll work alongside experienced leaders who support your growth and encourage you to take on increasing responsibility.
