About the role
The opportunity has arisen for an accomplished assistant manager (or a strong senior accountant ready to step up) with a minimum of 4-5 years current NZ CA experience in business services to join their close-knit team.
Due to the team structure and the business model of the firm, the successful candidate will work on high-end client engagements involving financial and management reporting, IFRS reporting, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, due diligence, financial analysis, business valuations, forensic accountant and others. Experience in these areas would be advantageous.
In addition, you will be responsible for guiding and training junior staff and managing an outsourced team of accountants.
About you
We are looking for an assistant manager with proven client-servicing and team supervisory/reviewing experience.
Naturally, at this level you will be CA or CPA qualified and possess excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
Our ideal candidate for this key role will have advanced Excel skills and good working knowledge Xero/XPA.
Previous experience with team supervision and managing an outsourced team of overseas-based accountants would be highly advantageous in this role.
