What you will be doing
- Partner with business owners to understand their goals, identify opportunities, and deliver practical, forward‑thinking advice
- Provide clear, accurate guidance across accounting standards, tax compliance, and broader business management
- Review financial statements and management reports, turning data into insights clients can act on
- Advise on a wide range of tax matters including GST, FBT, PAYE, trust structures, group arrangements, and other indirect taxes
- Lead engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring quality and consistency across all deliverables
- Support and mentor junior team members, helping build capability and a high‑performance culture
- Tackle complex issues with confidence, escalating where appropriate and contributing to continuous improvement
What you bring
- Around 5+ years’ experience in business advisory within a CA environment
- Strong technical grounding in accounting and tax, with CA/CPA qualification or progress toward it
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complexity into clarity
- A commercial mindset, analytical strength, and a genuine interest in helping clients grow
