Our client, a respected and fast‑growing Auckland CA firm, is strengthening its management structure and is looking for a confident business advisory managerial professional who can take ownership of client relationships, lead a team, and contribute to the firm’s continued expansion of their advisory offering.

 

The role

As a BAS Manager, you’ll step into a position with real scope and visibility. Your work will span:

  • 50% advisory / 50% high‑end compliance & financial reporting
  • Managing a diverse SME and mid‑market client base
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a motivated team
  • Reviewing work completed by both local and offshore teams
  • Driving advisory outcomes across cashflow, budgeting, forecasting, business planning, valuations, due diligence, and other project‑based assignments
  • Working closely with the directors
  • Playing a key role in workflow management and client strategy

This is a role for someone who can operate independently, build trust quickly, and bring commercial insight to every client interaction.

About you

  • Proven BAS Manager experience within a NZ CA environment
  • Strong review capability and confidence leading a team
  • Ability to manage client relationships with maturity and commercial judgement
  • Comfort stepping into advisory conversations and project work
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Experience with offshore teams is advantageous
