Our client, a respected and fast‑growing Auckland CA firm, is strengthening its management structure and is looking for a confident business advisory managerial professional who can take ownership of client relationships, lead a team, and contribute to the firm’s continued expansion of their advisory offering.
The role
As a BAS Manager, you’ll step into a position with real scope and visibility. Your work will span:
- 50% advisory / 50% high‑end compliance & financial reporting
- Managing a diverse SME and mid‑market client base
- Leading, coaching, and developing a motivated team
- Reviewing work completed by both local and offshore teams
- Driving advisory outcomes across cashflow, budgeting, forecasting, business planning, valuations, due diligence, and other project‑based assignments
- Working closely with the directors
- Playing a key role in workflow management and client strategy

About you
- Proven BAS Manager experience within a NZ CA environment
- Strong review capability and confidence leading a team
- Ability to manage client relationships with maturity and commercial judgement
- Comfort stepping into advisory conversations and project work
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience with offshore teams is advantageous
