The opportunity
Our client is a rapidly expanding CA practice with one of the strongest growth trajectories in Auckland and across New Zealand. As part of their continued national expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Advisory Manager or Senior Manager (Associate Director also considered) to their North Shore team.
This is a senior leadership role combining technical depth, genuine advisory impact, and the chance to help shape how a modern, ambitious firm continues to evolve.
Who you are
You’re a CA (CAANZ) or CPA with a strong technical foundation and a commercial mindset. You enjoy guiding clients, developing people, and staying close to the detail when needed. You’re someone who wants to influence outcomes — for clients, for your team, and for the wider practice.
You bring well‑rounded experience across client accounting, tax compliance, and business advisory, and you’re ready for a role where your judgement and leadership genuinely matter.
What our client is seeking
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- 4–5+ years’ experience in a New Zealand CA environment
- Strong capability across accounting, tax, and advisory
- CA (CAANZ) or CPA (Australia) qualification
- Proven client‑facing experience and trusted advisory capability
- The ability to mentor, support, and lift team performance
- Sound judgement, analytical thinking, and practical problem‑solving
- Confidence to contribute ideas and help refine how the firm operates
- Partnership potential within 3–5 years (depending on experience)

Remuneration: $135,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on seniority and experience.
