We are looking for an articulate business services professional with a minimum of 3-4 years NZ CA experience in the field. This is a client-facing role, and the successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to take ownership and responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients.
Therefore, your good grounding in all aspects of client accounting, tax compliance and business advisory and impeccable communication and client-facing skills will be crucial for your success in this role.
Some of the key items on our client’s job brief include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of year-end financial statements
- Monthly management reporting
- Special purpose reporting
- Preparation of various tax returns, including GST, PAYE, Income Tax and others
- Reviewing and supervision of junior and intermediate staff
- Acting as a first point of contact advisory to a wide range of clients (on a range of accounting, tax and systems issues)
- Liaising with Inland Revenue, Lawyers, Banks and other third parties on behalf of your clients
- Exposure to value-add assignments involving business planning, forecasting, due diligence etc.
- Various other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities..
Naturally at this level, you will be CA or CPA qualified.

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
