The Opportunity
As BAS Manager, you’ll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from privately owned businesses to larger corporate groups, providing practical commercial advice and helping them navigate growth, performance, and compliance. You’ll lead engagements end‑to‑end, guide junior team members, and contribute to the continued development of a modern, client‑centric advisory practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients and building strong, trusted relationships
- Leading advisory engagements from planning through to delivery
- Reviewing financial statements, management reports, and tax compliance work
- Providing clear, commercially grounded advice on accounting standards and tax matters
- Developing strategic recommendations to support business growth and performance
- Advising on tax‑effective structures, compliance obligations, and operational efficiencies
- Supervising medium and large assignments, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Coaching and mentoring team members to support capability development
- Communicating technical concepts in a clear, practical way to clients and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring a blend of technical strength, commercial awareness, and people leadership. Ideally, you will have:
- 5+ years’ experience in Business Advisory within a CA environment
- Strong financial reporting and tax knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
- Solid analytical capability and sound professional judgement
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
- CA qualification (or working towards it)
