The opportunity has arisen for an intermediate accountant to join their team. Our client is open to consider both permanent (40 hours per week) and part-time (3o hours per week) candidates, depending on your circumstances.  f

The role offers flexibility around hours, work from home and even remote options. 

This is a client-facing role. You will work directly with a wide range of clients operating across various industries, including farming, retail, hospitality and manufacturing to name a few.

Some of the key duties and responsibilities include:

  • - preparation and reviewing of year-end financial statements
    - preparation monthly and quarterly management reports
    - supporting clients with tax planning, budgeting, forecasting and general accounting and business advice
    - managing your own jobs and workflow to meet budgets and deadlines

 

In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative team where work-life balance is a key crooner stone of the firm's culture. 

 
We are looking for an intermediate accountant with current NZ CA experience in business services. Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified, and likely, studying towards a CA or CPA qualification. You may even have recently completed your professional studies. This is a client-facing role and requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Our ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Xero and sound grounding in NZ tax compliance. 


This role will suit a proactive individual with good time-management and problem-solving skills.
