The opportunity has arisen for a CA or CPA qualified business services senior accountant or an assistant manager to join the team. We are looking for an articulate, self-driven professional with a minimum of 3-4 years current or recent business services experience in a CA environment. This is a newly registered exclusive role that is not available or advertised anywhere else.
The role has strong client focus, and the successful candidate will gradually take full responsibility for a portfolio of key clients and the workflow associated with it. You will work directly with a range of entities across all industries and will be exposed to a broad spectrum of complex compliance and value-add engagements. The firm has grown in double-digit numbers for years and their client base consists of impressive businesses at the forefront of their respective industries.

Our ideal candidate is likely to meet the following criteria:
- excellent verbal and written communications skills
- sound experience with Xero and MYOB AO
- NZ IFRS reporting experience will be advantageous
- at least some experience with budgeting and cashflow forecasting
- solid grounding in financial accounting, monthly management reporting and tax compliance
- experience or exposure to value-add assignments or interest in developing further in this area
