The role
As a Senior Accountant within the Business Advisory team, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio and become a trusted point of contact for clients seeking clarity, direction, and commercial insight.
Your work will span:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Management reporting, budgeting, and cashflow forecasting
- Tax compliance and identifying efficiency opportunities
- Business planning and performance analysis
- Supporting clients with practical, growth-focused advice
- Guiding junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team environment
This is a hands-on role with direct access to experienced leaders and opportunities to step into more complex advisory work.
What our client is looking for
- 3–4+ years’ experience in BAS within a CA environment
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- CAANZ or ACCA qualified (or close to completion)
- Strong technical capability across financial reporting and tax
- Confidence using Xero, MYOB and cloud-based systems
- Excellent communication skills and a relationship-first approach
