What This Opportunity Involves
We are looking for a Senior BAS Accountant who enjoys working closely with business owners and decision-makers. In this role, you will help clients navigate their financial landscape, strengthen their reporting, and make informed decisions that support long‑term success.
Your work will span a broad mix of responsibilities, from preparing financial statements and management reports to delivering tax compliance and practical advisory insights. You will be part of a team that tailors its approach to each client, ensuring they receive guidance that fits their goals and stage of growth.
To thrive here, you will bring strong technical capability, confidence in your communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Some of the key tasks and responsibilities defining this role include
- Producing high‑quality financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis
- Managing tax compliance requirements and identifying opportunities for clients to optimise their tax position
- Helping clients understand their business performance and advising on strategies for improvement
- Supporting clients with software implementation, filing obligations, and trust‑related matters
What you bring
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- CA or ACCA membership (or equivalent)
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders
- A proactive, detail‑focused approach and confidence working in a fast‑paced environment
- The desire to continue developing your skills and career
