About the role
Due to current team dynamics and sustained growth, the opportunity has arisen for an accomplished senior business advisory manager or manager to join the firm in a key leadership role in their Auckland City office. The role offers broad work scope and exposure to some of the firm’s largest and most complex clients.
Here are some of the key aspects that define this role:
- overseeing and managing the year-end financial reporting for some of the largest clients
- overseeing the management reporting and client advisory requirements for key clients
- overseeing the tax compliance and advisory process for your clients
- NZ IFRS reporting
- Xero/Systems advisory
- team management, mentoring and guiding professionals at different stages of their career
- cashflow forecasting, budgeting, various consulting tasks and assignments
- running business planning sessions with key clients
- other ad hoc projects and tasks
About you
We are looking for an articulate senior manager currently working in a sizeable (top-tier or mid-tier) CA firm. While sound grounding in financial and management reporting and tax compliance is essential, we are looking for a professional with proven team and client management competencies.
Your ability to build and manage meaningful long-term working relationships with key clients will be essential in this role. NZ IFRS reporting experience and good working knowledge of Xero and other could-based platforms in a CA environment is essential.
