About the role
A newly created opportunity for a senior business services accountant to join a growing, well‑established CA firm in central Auckland. You’ll take ownership of complex compliance work, prepare and review financial statements and tax returns, and support advisory projects as the firm continues to expand. This role suits someone technically strong, reliable, and confident working independently while supporting the wider team.

What you will bring
- Solid experience as a senior BAS accountant in a New Zealand CA environment
- Strong technical grounding across compliance, tax, and client accounting
- Reviewing experience (advantageous but not essential)
- A reliable, hardworking approach and ability to keep things moving during busy periods
- Confidence working independently and supporting junior team members
- Strong communication skills and comfort dealing with clients

Salary
$105,000 – $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
