About the role

In this role, you will be exposed to a wide range of client assignments including but not limited to tax structuring, compliance, international tax, risk management, and strategic planning. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of key clients and the workflow associated with it. In addition, you will play a pivotal role and the delivery of high-quality advice. Naturally, at this level you will guide and mentor junior team members. 

 

Here are some of the main duties and responsibilities that define this role:

  • prepare and review complex tax returns for companies, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals
  • deliver tailored advice on tax structuring, risk management, international tax, and transactions
  • stay ahead of legislative and regulatory changes to guide clients proactively
  • manage client relationships and providing strategic, commercially minded advice
  • lead and mentor junior staff to build technical expertise and client service excellence
  • drive continuous improvement in tax processes, systems, and client service delivery
  • identify opportunities for broader advisory services and value-add for clients
  • build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless communication and top-tier service
  • supervise, train, mentor, and support junior and intermediate accountants, fostering professional growth
  • monitor and prioritise workflow to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations
  • lead and contribute to internal projects that enhance firm-wide systems, productivity, and client experience
  • drive continuous learning and innovation, staying ahead of industry and legislative changes.
