About the role
Dur to recent developments and current team dynamics, the opportunity has arisen for a CA qualified business services professional with strong systems competencies to join the firm. The successful candidate will head up the newly emerging digital transformation division in the firm.
This a multi-faceted role that requires the talents of a business services professional with proven experience in client accounting and systems advisory.
In this newly created role, the successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of digital accounting systems. This is a role with strong client-servicing focus. You will work closely with wide range of businesses throughout project lifecycles.
The successful candidate will provide ongoing digital/systems support to clients across various industries. Your role will be to ensure that modern technology is used in a way that will allow your clients’ needs to be met through seamless digital integration and value creation.
Some of the key aspects defining this newly created role include but are not limited to:
- drafting proposals for digital accounting and advisory projects
- developing and presenting project scopes and timeframes
- leading, managing and implementing systems such as Xero and various other cloud-based platforms
- act as client manager and first point of contact for clients on everything to do with accounting systems projects
- systems/digital transformation projects trouble shooting
- training of clients and team members
- identifying opportunities to add value to clients
- various other ad hoc tasks and projects..
About you
We are looking for an articulate business services managerial professional with proven IT/systems skills and experience.
Our ideal candidate will have all or most of the following:
- CA or CPA qualifications
- tertiary qualification with a double major in accounting and
- 5 years+ current NZCA experience in business services
- good working knowledge of Xero and other cloud-based platforms
- previous experience with accounting software implementation, troubleshooting and training
- proven time and project management skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to build long standing relationships with clients
