Current team dynamics and sustained growth have created the opportunity for an accomplished business advisory manager or a senior manager to join the firm in a key management role. 

At the manager level, we are looking for a CA or CPA qualified professional with a minimum of 5 years current NZ CA experience, preferably in a sizeable CA firm. 

At the upper end of the range for this role, we are searching for a senior manager with at least 6-7 years’ experience in the field. 

This is a key role within our client’s team and requires the talents of an articulate, commercially savvy professional with solid experience in all aspects of client accounting, management reporting, tax compliance and business consulting. 

Good systems skills and solid NZ IFRS reporting experience are essential for this role. 

Here is a summary of some of the key the technical competencies and personal attributes our client is looking for:

  • sound NZ CA experience with financial and management reporting
  • hands-on experience and good understanding of NZ tax compliance
  • experience with NZ IFRS and special-purpose reporting
  • experience with foreign investments and complex trusts
  • proven ability to manage a team of professionals and the workflow associated with it
  • outstanding client relationship management skills
  • well-rounded systems skills (good working knowledge of Xero and MYOB)
  • previous experience with advising clients on accounting software and systems issues
  • previous exposure to value-add assignments

We are looking for an accomplished managerial professional with a proven ability to work efficiently and thrive in a multi-faceted role within a dynamic team environment.  

Naturally, at this level you will possess proven people management skills and be passionate about coaching and guiding individual team members and adding value to your clients.

This is one of the most attractive propositions in the current market in Auckland – both professionally and financially. The successful candidate will be offered an above-market remuneration package. This Auckland CBD-based role comes with a carp park and a range of other additional perks. Glide time and up to 2 days' work from home per week are also available if required. There are share options as well in the longer term on offer with this role. 


Remuneration: $160,000 - $180,000 + kiwi Saver + car park + various other benefits.
