Our client is a well-established smaller mid-sized chartered accounting firm based on Auckland’s North Shore. Over the years the firm has built a loyal and diverse client base consisting of SME entities operating across various industries, including construction, early childhood education, property and professional services to name a few.
The firm boasts low staff turnover rates and a friendly and supportive team environment.
Due to a period of an increased demand for the firm’s accounting and tax compliance services, the opportunity has arisen for a contract business services accountant to join their team on a 3-month contract.
This is a typical compliance accountant role with focus on preparation of year-end financial statements and various periodic tax returns for a range of SME clients. The role requires the services of a CA or CPA qualified accountant, or an accountant qualified by experience who can work independently without the need for close supervision. Good working knowledge of Xero and Excel is essential for this role.
