Our client is a dynamic CA firm based in Central Auckland. The firm boasts a sizeable and diverse client base consisting of SME’s operating across a wide range of industries.
The opportunity has arisen for a business services manager (or a high-end supervisor) to join our client’s office in a manager role.
We are looking for an articulate CA or CPA qualified business services managerial professional with a minimum of 4-5 years’ NZ CA experience in the field. The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of clients and manage the workflow associated with it.
In addition to the client-servicing and management aspects of the role, you will be responsible for supervising and reviewing the work performed by two senior accountants.
Some of the key items on our client’s job brief include but are not limited to:
- preparation of year-end financial statements
- periodic tax compliance (tax returns, including GST, PAYE, Income Tax etc.)
- monthly management reporting
- being a first point of contact for your clients
- liaising with Inland Revenue, Lawyers, Banks and other third parties on behalf of your clients
- participating in value-add assignments, involving client business planning, forecasting, due diligence, and other projects, for some of your larger
- various other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities and tasks

Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per annum, depending on experience.
