We are looking for a CA or CPA qualified professional with a minimum of 5-6 years current experience in the field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to prioritise, organise and work efficiently within budgets care all essential requirements for this key senior role.
Some of the main duties and responsibilities highlighted in our client's brief include:
- preparation of year-end financial statements
- NZ IFRS reporting
- group consolidations
- periodic management reporting
- budgeting, Cashflow forecasting
- managing client assignments
- some reviewing
- providing clients with systems advice/trouble shooting
- dealing with various third parties, including IRD, banks and lawyers
- working alongside managers and partners on advisory projects for some of the largest clients
- various ad hoc tasks and responsibilities...
This role will suit a technically well-rounded accounting professional who thrives in a client-facing role with strong technical and client/workflow management focus.
Working as part of a high-performing team of commercially savvy professionals with a wealth of experience in compliance and business advisory, you will be exposed to a variety of projects. You will work with both domestic and global commercial organisations and complex groups of companies with multi-million-dollar turnover.
Experience with IFRS reporting is essential for this role. Strong systems skills and good working knowledge of Xero, MYOB (AO and/or AE) and Excel are equally important for this role.
This can best be described as technical role that will appeal to a high-end senior accountant or a client manager who enjoy client assignments of high complexity and daily client interaction.
