Current team dynamics and sustained growth have created the opportunity for an accomplished business advisory senior managerial professional to join the firm in a key leadership role.
We are looking for a CA or CPA qualified high-end manager or an accomplished senior manager with current or recent NZ CA experience, preferably in a sizeable CA firm.
Based in the heart of the Auckland CBD area, this key leadership role requires the talents of a commercially savvy professional with proven client and team management competencies. Naturally, at this level, you will have sound grounding and experience in all aspects of client accounting, management reporting, tax compliance and at least some exposure to value-add projects.
Good systems skills and NZ IFRS reporting experience would be advantageous in this role.
This is a varied, multi-faceted role that is hard to fully describe in a brief job ad. Here are some of the key technical competencies and personal attributes required for this role include:
- sound NZ CA experience with financial and management reporting
- sound grounding in NZ tax compliance
- experience with NZ IFRS and special-purpose reporting
- previous experience with foreign investments and complex trusts
- proven ability to manage a team of professional accountants at different stages of their careers
- team management experience (including reviewing and team workflow management)
- proven client-servicing and relationship management skills and experience
- well-rounded systems skills (good working knowledge of Xero)
- experience with value-add assignments
Ideally, we are looking for an accomplished senior manager who thrives in a multi-faceted role within a dynamic team environment.
At the lower end of the search brief for this role, we are open to consider experienced managers. This could be seen as an attractive next step for a high-end manager looking to step up into a senior manager role - now or within 3-6 months.
