About the role

This role will suit an articulate individual with sound grounding in financial accounting, management reporting and tax compliance. We are looking for a self-driven and proactive business services professional with a positive attitude.

Your ability to work well in a team environment and your work ethics will make you a good fit for this role. 

This is a newly created role in response to current team dynamics and will appeal to a strong intermediate to early senior accountant looking for a new challenge with strong client-servicing aspect.

You will work with a wide range of SME clients, assisting the partners in the firm with some of the most complex assignments and managing the workflow for a group of key entities. The role can best be described as a mix of high-end compliance and advisory projects. 

 

About you

We are looking for:

  • a tertiary qualified Business Services  Accountant (in the final stages of their NZCA studies) with a minimum of 3 years current NZ CA experience, or  
  • a CA (CAANZ) qualified professional with a minimum of 4-5+ years current NZCA experience in client accounting, tax and business advisory

Previous reviewing/supervisory experience, while not required for the lower end of the range, will be essential for the the upper end of the range for this role. i

This is a hands-on role within a practice that takes pride in the high professional standards and the quality of services they offer to their clients.

Salary indication: $70,000 - $95,000 per annum depending on experience.
