Our client is growing, and we’re looking for a Mandarin‑speaking Senior BAS Accountant to join their high‑performing team in their Central Auckland office. Based in a handy city fringe location, this role will suit someone who enjoys complex client work, values technical excellence, and thrives in a busy and collaborative CA environment.
What you will do
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for SMEs, groups, and HNW clients
- Work closely with Partners and Managers on advisory assignments
- Support clients with IFRS‑aligned reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial insights
- Build strong relationships with Mandarin‑speaking clients and stakeholders
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to workflow improvement
What we are looking for
4–7+ years’ BAS experience in a NZ CA firm
Strong technical grounding across accounting, tax, and NZ IFRS
CA qualified or near completion
Confident communicator in both Mandarin and English
Someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and client interaction
