About the role
- newly created role, due to growth
- strong client focus (sizeable SME's with annual turnover ranging from $10 million to $100 million)
- preparation of year-end financial statements
- tax compliance/periodic tax returns
- IFRS reporting for some of the largest clients
- consolidations work for some of the complex groups
- be the first point of contact for key clients
- supervise and guide less experienced team members
About the successful candidate
- CA or CPA qualifications are essential
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proven client-servicing competencies
- strong current NZ Tax knowledge and experience
- experience with FIF's calculations will be beneficial
- good time and workflow management skills
- proven ability to look after a sizeable portfolio of clients
- well-rounded systems skills and experience with
