We are looking for an accomplished CA or CPA qualified senior accountant with current NZ CA experience in business services. Our client is a medium sized firm with an established presence in New Zealand and international connections.

The opportunity has arisen for an articulate, self-driven professional to join one of the business advisory teams in a key senior accountant role with attractive potential. This is a multi-faceted role with initial focus on financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and tax compliance.
Due to the nature of the firm's clients and range of services, the successful candidate will gain gradual exposure to a wider range of projects and new technical areas.
This is a hands-on role with strong client focus and requires strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex accounting and business information to clients of various functional backgrounds and industries. You will be working closely alongside a manger and an assistant manager and, at times, with one of the partners.
The successful candidate will have previous experience and good working knowledge of Xero. We are looking for a technically competent senior accountant or a client manager who will be the first point of contact for a section of key clients. The role has some reviewing responsibilities and previous experience with review less experienced team members, or an outsourced team is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will have a proven client-facing skills and ability to manage their own workflow management.
