Due to current team dynamics combined with sustained growth, we have a new opportunity for a CA or CPA qualified business services senior accountant to join our client’s team in Auckland. The role represents a mix of high-end compliance and advisory assignments and has a strong client-servicing aspect.
The successful candidate will be given responsibilities for a portfolio of clients. Due to the size and complexity of most of the clients in the portfolio, we are looking for a professional who has had at least some IFRS experience and exposure to sizeable businesses. This is an essential requirement for the role! Well-rounded systems skills and good working knowledge of Xero are equally important for this role.
Our ideal candidate is likely to have at least 4-5 years or more current NZ CA experience in a client-facing business services role. Naturally, at this level you will be CA or CPA qualified.
The firm has traditionally appealed to candidates from Big 4 and larger mid-tier firms and this role can be seen as an attractive alternative to a similar role in one of the larger firms.
We are also interested in hearing from professionals with recent NZ CA experience in business services who are currently in a commercial role and keen to get back into CA.
