We have an opportunity for a business services senior accountant with a minimum of 3-4 years current NZCA experience to join the team and grow with the role. To be successful in this role you will need to have full CA or CPA qualifications and good grounding in all aspects of client accounting and tax compliance. Previous reviewing experience will be advantageous for this role. Attitude and personality fit are equally important for this role. Our client is looking for a positive individual able to work well as part of a team.
Some of the key aspects of the role include but are not limited to:
• preparation of periodic financial and management accounts
• preparation of cashflow analyses, budgeting and forecasting
• preparation of various tax returns; liaison with IRD
• assisting client with software queries and resolving software related problems
Well-rounded systems skills and interest in new technologies in the context of a modern accounting firm will be advantageous for this role. In this role, you will have strong client focus and gradually will be given the opportunity to expand into new technical areas. The firm will provide you with all the management support, training, technological support and resources that you require to be successful in this role.
