Our client is a reputable chartered accounting and business advisory practice with a diverse and loyal clientele. The firm is seen as one of the employers of choice in the SME segment and boasts impressively low staff turnover rates.
Due to sustained growth and current team dynamics, we have a new opportunity for an articulate BAS Intermediate Accountant to join the firm's North Shore office.
This is a newly created role.
We are looking for:
- a tertiary qualified accountant with a minimum of 12 months current NZ CA experience planning to commence their studies towards full CA qualifications, or
- a tertiary qualified intermediate accountant with 2-3 years current NZ CA experience who is studying towards a CA designation. (at the very top end of the range, our client would consider even a recently CA qualified professional
The firm does not recruit at this level often and this is a truly unique opportunity. The role will suit a friendly individual, passionate about developing a successful long-term career in the chartered accounting sector.
The successful candidate will have:
- sound academic background and good ability to learn new things
- outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- current NZ CA experience in business services
- focus on achieving full CA qualifications in the short to medium term
- commitment to learning and developing their technical skills in a CA environment
- ability to work well as part of a team
