Our client is a high-performing smaller mid-size professional accounting and business advisory services organisation with small but growing office in Auckland.

The firm is in expansion mode. We are search for a senior managerial professional who will be able to grow a team and be part of the national leadership team. 

Exciting new developments and sustained growth have combined to create the opportunity for an accomplished Business Advisory Senior Manager/Associate Director or a Director to join our client's office in Auckland. 

This is a varied role that has a lot to offer in terms of professional challenge, career progression and financial rewards.

Some of the key aspects defining this newly created role include but are not limited to:

• Partner with clients to help them address complex business problems to ensure sustainable business outcomes
• Grow, manage, train and guide your own team
• Build a highly engaged team through leading by example
• Encourage and promote a team culture of accountability, integrity, customer awareness, team spirit, ownership and reliability
• Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance
• Ensure communications with clients are timely, accurate and consistent and provide clear instructions on actions to meet expectations
• Ensure team targets and deadlines are met
• Various other ad hoc operational and strategic tasks and projects

We are searching for a CA or CPA qualified chartered accountant with proven leadership experience.

To be successful in this key role, you will need  advanced technical competencies in all aspects of client accounting, tax and business advisory.

Previous team leadership and client relationship and/or business development experience is essential.

NZ CA experience (preferably within a Big 4 or a mid-tier firm) in business advisory or tax, or both, is another key requirement for this role.
