Our client is a young and constantly evolving practice that has been setting the standards for their segment of the professional accounting and business advisory services arena for over a decade.

We are looking for a dynamic, recently CA qualified business services accountant with a 3-6 years current or recent experience in CA environment. This is a newly registered opportunity with one of our priority clients in the chartered accounting sector in Auckland. 

This is a busy, hands-on role with focus on statutory accounting and tax compliance initially and increasing advisory aspect.

The role has strong client focus and the successful candidate will gradually take full responsibility for a portfolio of key clients and the workflow associated with it.

You will work directly with a wide range of entities across all industries and will be exposed a broad spectrum of complex compliance and value-add engagements. 

The firm has more than tripled in size in recent years and their client base consists of a broad range of sizeable entities across all industries.

The sustained growth combined with new business opportunities resulting from strategic decisions taken in the last couple of years has created the need for a top-notch senior professional accounting to join the firm's friendly close-knit team.

To be successful for this role, you are likely to meet the following selection criteria in terms of competencies and experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Sound experience with Xero, MYOB AO and Banklink
• Sound grounding in and experience with NZ IFRS reporting
• Good working knowledge of PIE's and FIF's
• At least some experience with budgeting and forecasting and cash flow statements
• Good grounding in financial accounting, monthly management reporting and tax compliance
• Various ad hoc tasks and projects, including value-add assignments
