Our search brief is for a CA qualified Senior Manager Associate Director to Director with well-developed technical competencies in all aspects of Tax. • a successful track record in people leadership and client relationship management, and
  • well-rounded technical expertise in tax developed in the context of a sizeable professional services firm (preferably a Big 4 or a larger mid-tier organisation).

This is a salaried director role that will provide you with an attractive remuneration package, which consist of a generous base salary and short and long-term incentives based on well-defined performance criteria.

We are looking for an articulate, technically competent leader with:

  • Solid technical experience in all aspects of tax compliance and advisory

  • Proven client relationship management experience
  • Ability to capitalise on existing and new opportunities to cross sell and develop new services

Some of the main points on our client's brief for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing strategies to improve systems and processes
  • High-level planning and project management
  • Participating in business planning (forecasting and budgeting)
  • Providing strategic NZ and international tax planning advice and solutions to a wide range of sizeable SME clients
  • Ensure communications with clients are managed and clients are informed of actions to meet expectations
  • Attending regular meetings with Clients' senior management
  • Providing ad hoc reports and analysis as determined by clients or management
  • Identifying opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Building and managing meaningful long-term relationships with clients
  • Various other ad hoc operational and strategic duties and responsibilities, as and when required..
